· Manage attorneys’ daily schedules, including but not limited to calendar management, travel arrangements, scheduling teleconferences and depositions, monitoring and registering for court appearance hearings, and pleadings/discovery deadlines and requirements (with knowledge of California rules of court and local rules).
· Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, including letters, memoranda, briefs, pleadings, discovery, agreements, contracts, and other legal materials.
· File documents in California state, federal and appellate courts using e-filing systems (e.g., One Legal, PACER/ECF, Truefiling), ensuring compliance with filing deadlines and requirements.
· Assist with discovery processes including drafting discovery shells and transmitting document productions.
· Enter attorney time entries (e.g., Intapp).
· Maintain, organize, and update physical and electronic case files on a consistent basis (e.g., iManage).
· Prepare trial/arbitration materials, including binders, exhibits, witness files, and other supporting documents
· Coordinate logistics for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and client meetings, including scheduling court reporters, videographers, and in-person/virtual conferencing services.
· Communicate, both orally and in writing, with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, vendors and internal colleagues.
· Provide administrative support, including answering and directing calls, taking accurate messages, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
· Process expense reports, reimbursements, and check requests in a timely and accurate manner (e.g., Emburse).
The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $105,000.It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
